Dear Harriet Klausner,
The world is often shy and somewhat cruel to self-published novels. I have read much about your honesty and how open-minded you are. Perhaps you could review OMA: One Man Army. It is a Science Fiction that I made when I was 15. Now that I am 16, and just about done with the publishing process, I need to look for reviewers. You seem perfect for that. I am actually from Harrisburg, PA... which is where you started out. Therefore, way too many things are similar for me to pass this up.
Here is the synopsis:
----------------
Growing up in the 31st century, Jack, Jennifer, Kevin, Geoffrey, and Harold have never known peace. A thirty-year war has so engulfed their lives, the very meaning of their existence is to be a well-trained weapon.
With nearly infinite numbers, the Surculus threaten to annihilate the newly Unified Earth. The Celestial Guard deploys its latest weapon: the powerful One Man Army suit, of Project OMAHA.
Through the eyes of five young soldiers, learn the meaning of the acronym. Face greed, deceit, and unexplainable events. Then discover why war is hell.
---------------
So, if you enjoyed that, please contact me. The book will be out soon. The cover, editing, and everything else is completed and I will soon obtain my free 24 books. One of those books has your name on it, if you wish to claim it.

Hi Dan Neumann,
I read with great interest your appeal to Harriet Klausner, asking her to review your self-published novel. I would like to know whether you had any response from Harriet. As you know, she is an exceptionally busy reviewer, and I wondered whether she had time at all to review your novel. I have read that she gets free books from Alfred Knoff Publishing. In hard cover, too! Which means she receives a lot of free books. Good luck with your novel.

Hey Yesh Prabhu,
I've sent an e-mail to every address I can find remotely relating to Harriet... with no success. However, I have gotten great reviews back. Copy and paste this link to a great one from Reader's Views:

By the way, I checked out your novel on amazon.com I'd contact the webmaster about posting the image of your cover and doing "Search Inside." It has worked wonders for me. Best of luck my friend. And, next time you publish, consider Llumina Press.
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,
Thank you very much for your kind e-mail. I understand that you can contact Harriet Klausner through Amazon.com. I had noticed that a woman named "Marina", author of "Thr Truth about Caffeine", had plagiarized two of Harriet's reviews and had posted them under her name. So I brought it to Amazon's attention, and I was astonished to get a reply from Harriet, thanking me. I have noticed now that Amazon did delete those "reviews" from Marina's web-link.
By the way, the Barnes and Noble website has the cover of my novel and also three very good reviews. For my next novel, however, I am determined to find a main-stream, reputable publisher such as Random House or Knoff Publishing.
Take care,
Yesh Prabhu

That’s a great plan. I sincerely hope you can meet that goal; I know I'd love to get a traditional publisher :) But Llumina is the next best thing. They screen their manuscripts, offer returnability, and treat you like family. Also, they hired me as editor of www.ewritermagazine.com
You take care as well,
Daniel J. Neumann
P.S
That’s so cool that you got a letter from Harriet! You should convince her of doing a review for you :-D

Hello Dan,

I have contacted Harriet Klausner through http://harrietklausner.wwwi.com/ asking her to review my self-published adventure trilogy. Ms. Klausner responded, and kindly agreed. Her reviews of all 3 books of my trilogy are now posted on Amazon. Perhaps you can try contacting her through this website as well.

Good luck with your novel!

Just as an update. I never did get a response back. Thanks again, Laura. I appreciate it

That wasn't sarcasm, by the way. I just realized how that could be interpreted :). What I mean to say is: you all were really great helping me out. And even though Harriet never contacted me, it still means a lot.

I have found Harriet Klausner's reviews to be poorly written. Her prose is confusing and difficult to read. Her grammar is full of errors. She frequently gets her facts wrong. She appears to be the #1 reviewer because of legacy points she got when Amazon awarded two points for being one of the first two reviewers for an item. Harriet appears to hold the record for the most negative votes for any reviewer on Amazon. The #1 reviewer position was not earned by reader votes.
