Welcome to my site, formerly called "Likha", a Filipino word that means "to create." That's my Simpson-inspired self-portrait up there. I'm not really yellow in person, in case you're wondering. I initially created this site to showcase my art, but through the years, it evolved into a journal of both my art and writing adventures.
I built this site in September, 2003, with very little knowledge of this phenomenon called "blogging". A friend told me that it's best to host my site through a blog service so that I could constantly update it. The big question, though, was, what could I possibly write about to keep the site interesting? The question remains unanswered. In fact, that's the reason the blog section is seldom updated these days. By seldom, I mean months--years, even--go by without updates.
